As Catholic educators, it is our responsibility to integrate the tenets of our faith in all we teach and model in our classrooms. Does this call for extra effort on our part as catechist/educators to develop plans and assignments that support teachings of the Church? Yes, but the result is students who realize that what they are learning about their faith is applicable to real life, whether it is social studies, science, literature, math or the fine arts.
